Batesville Fire Department is combination fire department consisting of full-time, part-time, and paid on call staff. The Batesville Fire Department is privileged to serve the Ripley County residents of The City of Batesville, The Town of Morris and portions of the Townships; Laughery, Adams, Delaware, and Franklin. We also serve Franklin County residents of The Town of Oldenburg and Ray Township, and portions of Butler, Salt Creek, and Metamora Townships.

Batesville Fire Department operates out of a single station centrally located in Downtown Batesville. Our station houses (2) ALS Ambulances, (3) Engines, (1) Ladder, (1) Heavy Rescue, (1) Tanker, (1) Brush Truck, (1) ALS Non-Transport Vehicle. We operate with a staffing level of 5 personnel per shift that is composed of full-time and part-time personnel.

We protect lives and properties by providing fire suppression, emergency medical care and transport, disaster services, as well as providing public fire prevention education with the utmost respect and professionalism.
