About Us
The Batesville Emergency Medical Services Division is led by EMS Chief Ryan Everman. Chief Everman oversees all EMS related matters within the department. The Division of EMS is composed of two ALS equipped ambulances and two ALS non transport fire apparatus that are staffed by ALS and BLS providers.
Mission
The Batesville Fire Department Division of EMS is committed to providing exceptional Emergency Medical Services to our community and its visitors. Through education, training, and progressive medical protocols, our emergency medical technicians, advanced emergency medical technicians and paramedics are prepared and capable of handling any medical or trauma emergency. We are committed and will always be devoted to mitigating human pain and suffering as well as improving the health of our community.
The Division of EMS will accomplish these goals by:

- Ensuring our EMS providers have state of the art equipment to do their job.
- Striving to stay at the forefront of advancements in the field of pre-hospital emergency medicine.
