Water Main Construction Scheduled
BATESVILLE, Ind. The Batesville Water & Gas Utility has contracted Dave Omara Contractor Inc. to replace water mains on the following streets:
– West Pearl Street, from Main Street to Vine Street
– George Street, from Main Street to Vine Street
– Vine Street, from Boehringer Street to George Street
– Elm Street, from West Pearl Street to George Street
– Walnut Street, from Boehringer Street to West Pearl Street
Project completion date is scheduled for the end of May 2024. Roads in the affected areas will be shut down in sections as the contractor moves down the road. Affected residents and businesses will receive notification prior to work being done.
