Voting for District One in Batesville

Voting for only District One in Batesville

BATESVILLE, Ind., November 3, 2023. This year’s election will take place on Tuesday, November 7th, with only one race being contested in Batesville, District One. District One encompasses the Eastern part of the City, citizens residing Northeast of Highway 46 from State Road 229 to Merkel Road, down the west side of Coonhunters Road to County Road 1350. One person is running for each of the remaining districts. Therefore, voting is not required for Mayor, Clerk/Treasurer, City Judge, City Council District 2, District 3, District 4 and the At Large District. As there are no contested races in Franklin County, the Franklin County Election Board decided they will not have a polling place open for the Batesville City election. District One residents will vote at the Knights of Columbus, 624 Delaware Road, Batesville on Election Day, Tuesday, November 7.

The Ripley County Board of Elections will be using the Batesville Memorial Building as an early voting satellite location on Saturday, November 4th from 9:00 AM till 1:00 PM. Early voting will also be offered at the Ripley County Clerk’s Office starting Monday, October 30th thru Friday, November 3rd from 8:00 AM till 4:00 PM, and also on Mondy, November 6th from 8:00 AM till 12:00 Noon.
