BATESVILLE, Ind. City of Batesville Seeks Community Development Director
The City of Batesville is seeking a Community Development Director. The ideal candidate will establish working relationships with various community groups and non-profit organizations. Assist with City sponsored events and special projects as directed by the Mayor. Assists with the implementation of comprehensive community strategies for the city, integrating marketing, advertising, and other promotional elements of city planning.
The candidate must possess good oral, written and social media communication skills. Ability to administer state and federal grant programs. Preferred candidate possesses a degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Previous government experience is preferred, but not required.
