The Batesville Water & Gas Utility
The Batesville Gas Utility will be conducting a gas leak survey on the gas system in the southeast and downtown areas of Batesville. Two men will be walking & using a utility cart to check for underground gas leaks in the streets, right-of-ways & onto the customers property up to the gas meters located on the outside of the home. The survey will take approximately 3-4 days to complete (weather permitting) starting Monday September the 9th. This is done annually as part of the Utilities maintenance plan.
