Our parks are the perfect platform for family gatherings, weddings, concerts and special events, such as the annual Kiwanis Applefest and National Night Out.
Batesville city parks include Liberty Park, Dog Park (located in Liberty Park), Veteran’s Park, Weberding Park, Brum Woods, Memorial Pool and Freedom Park.
The parks are managed by the Batesville Parks and Recreation Board. All inquiries regarding policy and management should be directed to the Park Board during its regularly scheduled meeting time on the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm, First Floor Conference Room.

City Reservoirs
Our city’s reservoirs have been stocked by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and fishing is permitted throughout. Bischoff Lake, a city reservoir, offers public access for small watercraft
