The City of Batesville is seeking a Director of Economic Development & Strategy.
This leadership role will shape and advance the City’s long-term economic development vision, guiding business attraction, retention, expansion, and redevelopment strategies, and workforce initiatives, in alignment with the Mayor and governing boards.
The Director will also oversee growth-focused marketing and communications efforts to ensure strong positioning and consistent messaging that supports Batesville’s continued advancement. We are looking for a strategic, forward-thinking leader with experience in planning, board collaboration, and translating vision into action.
