The Batesville Fire Department’s Community Relations Division is led by Public Relations Officer Jacob Speckman. This division is responsible for coordinating all station tours, fire safety presentations, community events, and public education programs. The Community Relations Division works closely with local schools, organizations, and residents to promote fire prevention, safety awareness, and community engagement. Through these efforts, the department strives to strengthen relationships within the community and encourage proactive approaches to safety and preparedness.

The Community Relations Division also manages and maintains all of the department’s social media platforms, ensuring timely and accurate communication with the public about department news, events, safety information, and emergency updates.
