 e residents with Rumpke service\, Rumpke will collect up to ten large item
 s (material too large to fit in a garbage can/heavier than 75 pounds) on S
 aturday\, November 4\, 2023. This one-day event begins at 5:00 A.M. Citize
 ns are encouraged to set their disposable items out the evening before to 
 ensure that items are not missed.\n\nAcceptable Items Include:\n– old cl
 othing\n– furniture\, bedsprings &amp\; mattresses (must be covered in c
 ellophane/plastic)\, etc.\n– old rugs\, carpet pieces (not weighing more
  than 75 lbs.)\n– rubber hose\n– appliances (as in washers\, driers\, 
 etc.)\n– wood (bundled 4 feet long or shorter\, 75 lbs. maximum)\n– in
 sulation\n– all cans or buckets\, totally cleaned and dry\n– paint can
 s (must be dried paint)\n\nUnacceptable Items Include:\n– No electronic 
 devices containing mercury (as in TV’s\, computers\, microwaves\, cell p
 hones\, etc.)\n– No building and construction materials (bricks\, etc.)\
 n– No remodeling materials (interior/exterior)\n– No landscape materia
 ls\n– No car body parts including wheels and tires\n– No steel or meta
 l framing\n– No tree limbs\, grass clippings or leaves\n\nRefrigerators\
 , AC units\, and freezers are required to have a sticker on them showing t
 hat the CFC’s was removed by a certified person. This includes units wit
 hout the compressors in them. If there is no sticker\, your unit will be r
 ejected.\n\nTV’s\, computers (&amp\; monitors)\, microwaves\, VCR’s\, 
 and all other electronics may be dropped off (Fee charged) at the Batesvil
 le Area Recycle Center\, located at 616 John Street in Batesville. Operati
 ng hours are Monday\, Wednesday and Friday\, 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sa
