SEIYMCA Family Game Night

This event will be held at the SEIYMCA and is sponsored by the Coalition for a Drug Free Batesville, Mayor’s Youth Council, and the SEIYMCA.  There will be yard size games, such as Jenga, Connect Four and many more, to play that evening.
This event is free to the community.

Memorial Public Library Welcomes The Motor City Boogie Woogie Kid


Matthew Ball aka The Motor City Boogie Woogie Kid is the attorney turned musician who now has over 3.7 million YouTube views and counting!  Michigan’s reigning Boogie n’ Blues heavyweight, Ball left the practice of law in 2001 to pursue a life in Music.

With recent appearances on Fox 2 News Detroit’s ‘The Nine Show’ and Channel 20 News Detroit’s ‘Concert on the Qube’, and back from a year-end Pacific coast tour, Matthew is called a “nationally emerging boogie-woogie master.”  His performances are described as “Awesome!” “Crushing!” Fantastic!”

Suffice to say you won’t want to miss this special toe-tappin’, family-friendly program of acrobatic piano favorites like In the Mood, Ain’t Misbehavin, Glory of Love, Basin Street Blues, The Entertainer, Bumble Boogie and many more!

State of the City Address

Mayor Mike Bettice will present his State of the City Address on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at the Batesville Middle School Commons, 201 N. Mulberry Street, Batesville.
This informative meeting will review the City’s 2016 Finances, the 2017 Budget and include a discussion on future projects and initiatives.

R.O.C.K. for the RAA-2017 Annual Art Auction

Featuring the Endless Summer Band and a silent auction that will include vacation get-away packages and items from local artists and businesses.
